Red Hawk Fire Protection Website

Project: Red Hawk Fire Protection

Role on Project

I was the sole contractor on this project.

I managed all client meetings and discussions. Working with the client stakeholders I defined the target audience and primary and secondary goals of the website. Based upon user research and stakeholder requirements, I designed the site UX to optimize the top priorities.

Creating wireframes and mock-ups, I attained stakeholder approval.

I built the website using WordPress and the Divi theme so the client could easily manage the site content post-launch.

Tools & Technology

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • WordPress (Divi Theme)
  • CSS3
  • SEO Tools: Yoast, SEMRush, Spyfu

This was a complete redesign and development of the Redhawk Fire Protection website. The project was driven by a change in focus for the company, changing their target audience and expanding their client potential.

The goal was to create a website that was not only more modern and fully responsive, but to target a more residential-based clientele, rather than focusing on industry.

As a secondary goal, there was a desire to reach potential employees and demonstrate this was a great place to work.
